Contrary to popular belief, the Black Family Christmas didn't revolve around torturing little woodland animals for fun or any of the other rather slanderous things people tended to dream up for them. They did actually decorate, and they did quite normally thank you- even if they did tend to use a lot more silver and green than other people would. Oh, and there was the matter of making the House Elf heads festive too, but that was a completely different story.
"It needs more sparkles," she stood in the doorway, having been on her way down from deciding that the library really wasn't where she wanted to spend her day, "I can make silver ones, if you want. The other alternative is green, though, so choose wisely!"

Helga held out the white snowflake she had been cutting and tilted her head to the side. "Hmm it does need more sparkles." With a little flourish of her wand, the snowflake began to glitter. Satisfied, she set it down and turned around to see who had been talking.

It was... the girl from a few weeks before. The one going on about weather charms. "Well, green is a Christmas-y color, so I can't really complain I guess." She smiled and scooted over to make room for her.

Bellatrix sat down, sinking fully into big-sister mode. She didn't hate Helga, which in Bella-world meant she really rather liked her.
"The best Christmas color, of course," she smirked and flicked her wand so some of the paper garlands suddenly found themselves sporting a dusting of glitter in the aforementioned best color, opting out of having to ask how to make a snowflake. Her pride would never forgive her. "You could have trees in here too, to put the gifts under. One for each person!" Well, she was obscenely rich...

"I've always been a bit fond of gold," Helga said with a smile. She conjured several small gold bells that tied themselves to the ends of the paper garlands. "Oh, the spell worked! I always watched my grandmother do it but never tried it until now." Quite proud with herself, she set back to folding pieces of paper.

She glanced up at Bellatrix, tilting her head to the side. "Well, trees would be a good idea! But it's not for another few weeks so I'll worry about that when it gets closer~ And I don't think we'll need that many trees. I don't think any classroom could fit that many." Helga kicked her legs out a few times before suddenly sitting up straighter. "You wouldn't happen to know how to make it snow, but without it being cold, would you? We were talking about weather charms last time, so I was just curious if you knew any."

(ooc: I would laugh if Bella then asked someone else how to do the spell and came back later to teach it to Helga and be like "fukyeah I can make it snow")
