i've been watching the news all morning. i feel so bad for all those people who are going to lose everything. some of those buildings have been there for over 200 years and they might be gone in less than 24 hours. i've never been to bourbon street and i wish i had because it will never be the same.

I know what you mean...I've been driving through Louisiana to get to Mississippi for over fourteen years now, and not once did I stop in New Orleans. I wanted to party on Bourbon Street, too. Well, it sucks a lot more for the residents there.

okay so the news over-exaggerated and it's not as bad as they said it would be. i was going to delete my post, but i changed my mind. i will just say that it still sucks for the people who live there.

Really? 'Cause I read news articles online worldwide last night that were still saying it's going to be that bad. And my family's still evacuating their homes in Mississippi, too. I guess we'll see.
