Being curious I looked up radio pharmaceuticals. Likely she was injected with a compound containing Technetium-99 which believe it or not they "milk" from something called a "moly cow" containing decaying molybdenum-99

BTW it's almost 8 hours later and she's now reading 3.2 mr/hr. Tc-99 has a half-life of 6 hours so that's about right.
