After enduring last week's record-breaking heat, this beautiful misty haze and rather dramatic temperature drop is a gift from God. I feel like fall just scurried onto the scene and apologized for being late. It's beautiful. I'm in a decorating mood now; I just wanna go home and dig out all the fall trimmings and possibly shop for a few more. What

113? Really? Wow. We only got up to 90 last week, which was a record high here for that date, but yikes. And we're usually warmer than you. Glad it seems to be gone.

Yeah, it was nuts! Only got up to 109 or so where I was, but Lord, was it killer. We are not used to that kind of heat at all. Weirder still that now we're in the 60s with chronic rainshowers all week. Southern California is so bipolar!
