Two years into my marriage, and I'm even happier than I was when I got engaged. :] This is worth noting.
It certainly is. I know several young divorcées.

I wish I hadn't been spoiled about that spoiler. But oh my God. Yes.

Haha I know, Luke's goal of building the ULTIMATE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER is coming along nicely, for us having such a dinky little apartment. ;P Once we finally get a bigger place I guarantee you his first words will be: "This surround sound is insufficient. BEST BUY!"

You know, you may have put your finger on why I can't get into DragonAge--there, your player character doesn't speak. It's like you're a non-entity. People talk around you. It's very off-putting. If Mass Effect were the same, I bet I wouldn't have liked it half so well. They're by the same company, even. I can't believe BioWare wouldn't take the time to record dialogue for your player character.

Glad you're enjoying Mass Effect. I liked that world so much, I read all the basically story-useless background data on all the species. I like how alien they are. The Krogan are my personal favorites, though I may be biased 'cause of Wrex. I want Wrex to be my wingman. He and Garrus, though I <3 Garrus for different reasons. (SO MUCH HEARTING.) The Turians are jerks, but Garrus is like, "Yeah, we're kind of jerks, my race," so I forgive. Wrex is like, "Krogan are bastards and we'll eat you just as soon as look at you--wanna fight about it?" AND I SAY THEE, YEA, SIR.

Yes! I played through about a third of Dragon Age when it first came out and to be honest, unless I am magically granted more free time than I know what to do with in the near future, I'll probably never finish it. There's just too many other games I'd rather be playing. That said, some of the dialogue is a lot of fun, especially the banter between Morrigan (Claudia Black! ilu!) and Alistair. I don't know, I ultimately think I've read one too many dark-fantasy novels in my time, and the game's story doesn't do anything terribly interesting to upend all those clichés.

OMG GARRUS AND WREX. They are my two party members at present and I crack up every time we are in an elevator together and chilling out. Like, CHECK OUT MY TWO BADASS ALIEN BODYGUARDS. Who would mess with me, in rl? NOBODY. I love them both so much, but Wrex is totally my favorite. He's just so "Whatever, you're so boring, please stop trying." Hee.

Wrex is my super favoritest friend evers. My roommate rolls her eyes at me when I go all anime-eyed over him. I wuvvy wuv him. The humans are tres boring. I want to play with Wrex and Garrus 4 EVERS.
