I'm still trying to figure out what Twitter is for, really. All I see, it seems, is people saying good morning, good night, what they are having for meals, where they are traveling to or coming from and the occasional link to some cause or an event.
That was my initial impression, too. But its appeal is slowly becoming apparent. What's probably most impressive about it is the fact that so many writers, celebrities, and big figures are a part of the whole community - there's something so odd but so awesome about following Nathan Fillion, for example, and seeing what's preoccupying him for the day. Even the White House has a Twitter account! It's pure craziness.
OH DEAR. THE SADDEST THING: I am. I am on Facebook every day. It's kind of ridiculous. My excuse is that it's how a lot of my church peeps communicate and organize stuff, so I really can't help it. D: I've had an account since my college years!
