Steering away from the rather painful Monday this is turning into, I had a fabulous Easter weekend with my family. We had a brief visit with my cousins on my dad's side, consumed food of the delicious kind (oh it makes me so hungry just thinking about that ham), and otherwise kicked back for some well-earned rest ( Read more... )

Ham is disgusting. And how should the church be celebrating Easter?

Ham is delicious. You lose. ;P

And: sorry, that question is way too loaded for me to respond to in a comment, it'd require a whole post. But I might just end up doing that once I finish the book (which will be soooon, huzzah!).

Nate likes ham too. I don't understand the attraction. They had ham and roast at the Reeder dinner last night and the roast looked nasty but I had some to avoid the ham. (It was ok, but red meat makes me sad.) The German potato salad was the best. Homg. You wish you'd have been there. It's different from your mom's but oh so good.

BUT I WANT TO READ DEEP ALI-THOUGHTS.

I need to finish collecting the Bendis trades (I'm missing two or three) so I can read it all in one go. I think the last stuff I read was the one where Echo went off and met Wolverine because God knows you can't have a Marvel title that doesn't guest star Wolverine at some point.

Oh wow, you've got a lot of great stuff ahead of you, then. I really adored the vast majority of the Bendis/Maleev run; the current Brubaker/Lark team is very good as well, lots to love, but I must admit I miss Maleev's artwork. His Matt was just fabulous.

(And heh, ain't that the truth re: Wolverine.)
