Today is the final day of my Week in the Life photo essay. Not that I ever need encouragement to take pictures, but this was a fun exercise, and hopefully let people who know me get a glimpse of what I'm up to. Your turn now!
For my last day of this exercise, I had planned to go to the botanic gardens or some other photogenic place I'm fond of, but Elliot was coming down with a cold, so we stayed at the house. This is the first day I managed to keep within the purported daily limit of pictures (6-8), and they are all very domestic, but that's very me, so it's quite appropriate.
1. rt_hon_rackman has lately been making a ton of waffles on the weekend. We eat some fresh, and freeze the rest to have high-quality toaster waffles for a week or two, an idea we got from Alton Brown. Yum-my!
2. A Cloudless Sulphur butterfly on my Firecracker bush. The year-round presence of butterflies is one of my favorite things about Florida.
3. Gillian wanted to make herself a ladybug costume using some fabric scraps from her auntie srisyadasti. She had a good design, but using the stapler wasn't going to work, so I broke out the sewing machine to sew on a few requisite straps
