I haven't posted in a while, because I've been busy. But I really want to post something, because my Thanksgiving post is beginning to shame me with its inappropriateness. So here are two poems about cities. I have read some very challenging and evocative poems in other people's posts lately; lacking anything of that description, I decided to post

that's my favorite bit too. Also, the second stanza of Roar is particularly good to me as well.

Roar is kind of unfinished. The clear winner here seems to be Chicago at Night. Maybe I should put up two poems for a cage match more often.

You're welcome. I appreciate the feedback. I like writing poems, but once they are done, I have no perspective on them.
