I've been meaning to update this journal for over two months!  It's not that things haven't been happening, or that I've intentionally abandoned this - It's just been an issue of finding time to write a proper entry.  Unlike FB, which I often use more like twitter with just short blips and/or photos, I like my LJ entries to be more

No, things never work quite the way you plan them. Sometimes worse, sometimes better, but that's what makes divination such a perilous occupation.

Frankly, I'm starting to very much dislike FB. It is kind of a continuous version of the comments section of any article-the part that you NEVER want to read, if you want to retain any delusions that the human race is worth saving.

Glad to see you're still here and still reading; that's a big part of what makes a journal like this worth keeping and sharing. FB is going the way much of the Internet has already gone: from a source of information and entertainment to a pile of spam and wasted time. There is still a lot of good stuff there, but you have to wade through so much garbage and click-bait that it barely seems worth it anymore. :/

Anyway, I'm going to try (once again) to update this journal more regularly, for my own sake if no other.
