Snowblowers

    A comment by a friend on a recent post once again brings up the idea of selling snowblowers at the shop.  I could have (possibly) sold several this season so far, as I've had at least five people inquire about buying one from me, but I haven't any to sell.  Part of the problem is that there are already a few other players in this market:  The ( Read more... )

Well, given that you are a repair place, perhaps you could see about getting into the used snowblower market?

That would require someone wanting to sell one, which hasn't happened yet.

My hired man took out the big M F tractor the other day to see if he could make his way through some big snow drifts behind the hay shed, but he only went two feet before he got stuck. Tomorrow he will try to get some chains. Hope that helps. If he had used the snow blower when the snow was fresh, it wouldn't be there now.

I hope the chains helped. I bought a set for my old Massey-65 a couple years ago; they're a pain to put on, but they definitely help.
