We have had a week of warm weather which has cleared most of the snow from the driveway and court yard. The drifts are still about 2 feet deep on the north side of the house, but the south side is clear and the pastures are almost clear. The horses are a terrible mess because they have been rolling in any mud that they can find. I don't want to brush them too much just yet. We are sure to get more snow and cold weather. Maybe even rain. I do try to keep their feet dry, though. I don't think it has been quite so warm where you are. I hope you don't get any serious flooding.

Fortunately, the horses are on higher ground so they can get out of the wet and muck, and of course they can also go into the barn as they please. The nice thing about all this extra moisture is that it makes their hooves softer, which makes them a lot easier to trim.

They're all shedding like crazy. Last weekend I scratched enough hair off Bonnie to make a cat - and there was still plenty to go! ;)
