The last couple of days have certainly been busy ones. The most important thing was getting all of the income statements for Iron Pony and Wildhorse Bowling into the accounting software so that I could calculate the PST due. There I was, in the school lunch line, when Mr Goon comes up and gives me a good shove. Just to do it, really. I toppled over backwards and landed flat on my back with a *wham!* onto the concrete.
What neither Goon nor the watching Yard Duty knew was that that it was actually a textbook-perfect Judo fall, as taught by my father, and I was totally uninjured. This didn't stop me from playing things up a little though. I remained totally still until the panicked Yard Duty teacher got to me, at which point I moaned groggily and called her 'mom'... Yeah, that really freaked her out.
They checked me out in the Nurse's office, while I could hear the yelling and screaming from two doors down, where the Principal was meeting with Goon's folks. Good times.
