Putting the Labour back in Labour Day!

     As anyone who works on a farm can tell you, there's really no such thing as a Holiday, or a Day Off.  There will always be things that have to be done, and animals and weather take no notice of Man's ideas about Time Off.

This was my weekend to the work the Saturday, which means that instead of getting Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off, I'

Our cats have been taking to bringing home dead and not-so-dead animals of late.

Dragonflies are a favorite, as are mice, the occasional bird, rats, at least one vole...

... and a rabbit.

How the *hell* they caught the thing is anyone's guess.. but they had a time trying to kill it, given how much blood and gore were all over the kitchen floor.
