So I'm sitting in my American government class today (before class actually) and during conversation this woman behind me says "As long as it isn't Barack Hussein Obama! I don't want to wear a Burqa" I tell her he isn't a radical muslim and did not go to one of those muslim schools that teaches hatred of anything not muslim but she didn't want to ( Read more... )

Welcome to a good portion of the Fox newsfed USA. the whole Barack is a muslim was a short lived smear on him made by Faux news at the beginning of 2007.

When something is important to me I research it. If I was actually afraid someone would force me to be in their religion you had better bet I would research the facts versus the Bullshit.

I can't wait to leave this country sometimes. Hopefully to Vancouver in the next few years.

You should print that off and give it to her. I hate it when people regurgitate racist/ignorant crap like that which they haven't even bothered to research. I wish people would take more responsibility for their opinions, especially when they go around espousing them.
