iirc it's supposed to be a bit harder, but i guess not ._.

I guess it's because there's higher emphasis on understanding/reading comprehension and less on kanji readings? I suck at remembering how to pronounce compound kanjis, but give me reading comprehension and it's like fish in the water to me, even if it's harder. Maybe that's the thing.

really late, but cool!!!!!!!! :D i'm going N1 this december, and if there's more emphasis on reading comprehension then i have a ray of hope! *hasn't touched her books yet*
