New Horse

Thank you all for your advice in my last horse-searching post. I have finally found my first horse, and he arrived at my barn yesterday. I looked at quite a few horses in between that post and now, including a gorgeous OTTB mare who was almost mine, but didn't pass her vet check (bone chips in her hind ankles.) Then at the end of it all, my trainer

horses don't have ankles, btw, they have fetlocks ;D

Thank you-and yes, I know they're fetlocks, I think I tend to unconsciously mirror the vet who was the one who originally referred to them as "ankles." *shrug*

Horses also don't have feet, but people often refer to their hooves as such. ;)
