You can definitely see improvement from the first lesson to the fifth! I wish I could convince my husband to do something like this, but I'd need a trustworthy horse to use... darn it :P

It'll be fun to have this when he gets REALLY good to look back on to see the progress!

Good for him for giving it a go!
My Dad decided "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" and started taking riding lessons when he was in his 40s :)

Yay for SO's making the leap! He looks great so far!! My husband just started riding as well, after 8 years of watching from the ground. This grey looks almost exactly like his horse too, so when I saw the video I did a squeel :) Have you guys tried a western saddle? My husband always feels a bit more secure in his.. the horn really helps with posting.
