So this past Friday I had an AWESOME lesson riding my trainer's 23 year old firecracker of a TB, Fraju. He's seriously such an awesome horse, and ever since I met him when I was around 12 or so it has been a bit of a dream to ride him, so I'm super excited that it finally happened, and it went well! Thanks! And yeah, he was a handful on the little 2'6"-ish stuff I was doing at age 23, can't even imagine trying to ride him on an XC course when he was like 9 or something! My trainer was warning me about some of his antics on the ground and said, "He's afraid of aliens." Hahaha! So he's a little crazy and paranoid, but seriously such an awesome horse to ride!

Definitely! Great to learn how to relax even on the hottest of horses. Plus it was a total confidence boost. If I can handle myself well on Fraju, I can ride almost anything, short of something dangerous like rearing anyway!
