In search of fancy English spurs?

Help, please! My friend saw a pair of spurs at a show and I'm trying to track them down for her. She says they look like the metal is braided. When I Google "braided spurs," I only get straps. The closest match seems to be these: http://www.beval.com/Products/ ( Read more... )

I use those type of sprus. Just beware, if she's showing Regulation Dressage, (USDF rules) spurs have to be made out of smooth metal, solid metal. I can't show in mine.

Thanks for the heads up! She saw them at an IHSA show, so anything goes lol. I think she just wants them for style when she's schooling horses. Are yours those exact ones, or are yours more of a braid style? I'm pretty sure I'm overanalyzing this. I can only seem to find men's or children's, do you think yours are flexible enough to be bent to the correct size if they were the wrong size? Hope that made sense. Sorry for all the questions!

Those exact ones. I borrowed them from my boss.
Uhhh I don't know about bending them, that metal is pretty good quality!

Yeah, I thought they looked pretty solid. I hope she can squeeze into the children's, they're pretty cute! Thanks again.

Thank you! I'm really upset that it's so grainy, because he really is stupidly cute. And very tolerant, obviously.

Ooh detailed and pink! Think it is the same as above, just in bright pink!

I don't think those are quite the ones--I know she wasn't too into the engraved spurs. But thanks!
Those pink ones, though. If I showed up to a lesson wearing those, my coach would have a stroke (or just sigh heavily shake her head). Meaning, those are highly necessary and were just added to my wish list.
