New Horse

Hello fellow equestrians!

I haven't posted frequently or recently but I am posting today with some rather exciting news... I GOT MY FIRST HORSE!! After years of waiting (and passively searching!)I finally have a horse to call my own!

Enjoy it! I still remember the moment Danny, my first (and only) horse stepped off the trailer onto the property we boarded at. There are no words for that feeling. When times get rough, because these are horses even though they're our babies, remember how you felt when he stepped off the trailer, and you'll remember that this is all worth it to have that connection. Thats my only advice... cherish him.

If you're anything like me, it'll take a while to feel real. I kept wanting to pinch myself... or at the very least have someone slap the giddy smile off my face. My face honestly started hurting from the smiles. It makes me so happy to hear about horse owners who are so excited for it!

Congrats! Might sound weird but in the photo he looks like has has a really 'kind' face - i had a horse that looked like him and he was really genuine and worked hard to please. Enjoy your new man!
