True story broooo. I thought it was the picture, because he looked okayish at the walk. But then he started trotting/moving and it became kind of obvious.
Agree pretty much although some of it may be that he's been trained to pace, and is a bit awkward at the trot. If he had great hindlegs, I'd just assume it was a training issue, and he *does* trot eventually. But the combination...
I work for the Standardbred Retirement Foundation and we interact with New Vocations regularly. My concern is that they don't allow test rides or vet checks when you adopt, and this guy looks like he's got hitchy stifles. They may be why he didn't race.
There was just a thread on this on COTH, and apparently they do allow vet exams now I think. Either that or I can't remember right, but I do remember that they give you a 60 day trial and if you don't like the horse/horse doesn't vet properly you are refunded. Thought that was interesting.

Thought he might be a bit bumhigh as hes 4, but looks like lamnitis-posture (forgive if wrong spelling).
However, hes exceedingly beautiful for a standardbred, we got some ugly brutes over here in NZ.
