A few months ago I posted about taking my mare to the AWS inspection, and I wanted to follow that up since a couple people asked that I do so. Under the cut are tons of pics; I decided to go ahead and tell the story of my mare for those who were interested. It makes the inspection that much more special

*hugs* congratulations on having the balls, dedication, commitment & wherewithal to stick with your horse & not pass her on to someone else.

it's so easy to fall in love with a horse & even easier to find out we've bitten off WAY more than we can chew.

she is a stunner, and a credit to you. she sounds like a horse that needs a relationship with someone to thrive. well done.

After working at the hospital for a year, I hated to see troubled horses get passed along. Eventually they end up somewhere really, really bad. And that was just horrible. Plus, even at her worst, I loved the beast. Especially when I figured out her behavior was fear and not just bratiness. :P
