i have repaired both lightweight (no fill) and medium fill WB's and saxons (all 600d) with ... GAFFER tape. that stuff ROCKS. i usually cut a smaller piece & very carefully get it on the inside of the tear to stick from the inside & then put some over the outside. i had two rugs with minor tears & one with major fricking mouseholes (blasted pests!) complete with stuffing falling out etc last the winter here (including out in a big paddock) with gaffer tape repairs.

if you don't want to keep them, give them to the RSPCA. i know our local one keeps them either for the horses, or as dog blankies.

and i wear the dublin "shapely" stickers. they have extra darts thru the hips.

We keep old blankets floating around to cannibalize and use to patch other blankets.

This is a fantastic idea, i never thought of that! something to do with all the shredded blankets at the barn that would otherwise never see another back of a horse :)

Thanks! I'm still doing animal massage as well as animal communication. Working at Dover helps me to pay board. :-)
