I got both of my show halters from there for less than $40 bucks. They look just as good as any of the other halters at shows. I've had one of them for three years now and it looks just as good as when I bought it. The other one I got this year because I liked the other one so much. My Dad bought a show bridle/breast collar set and I think a saddle blanket as well. They're very quck with shipping, we've always gotten our things within a couple of days and we've never had a problem with them. I've recommended them a ton, especially for the show halters since they're so much cheaper than anywhere else.

Thanks for sharing! My friend actually showed me their site (I had seen them on eBay but hadn't realized they have their own website too) and told me she knows a girl that bought a bridle from them and it was pretty good quality. I probably won't do any showing for a long while with her because she needs weight and work done on her feet, and we don't have a trailer, but I would like to get something that I could school in as well as use at a little show if I needed to. We'll see! :)

out of interest, does your horse *need* a figure 8 noseband?

I recently saw some pictures of me riding, and in some of them she was definitely crossing her jaw, so I'm thinking I should try one out with her.

if you're just trying it out, then just buy the figure 8 noseband individually. there's no sense in buying a new full bridle before you know what kind of setup is suitable for your horse.

I'm actually planning to borrow one first. ;)

I bought a blanket from them off of ebay a few years back. It was really cheap (like under $40?) and quite a nice thickness. One of the straps ended up ripping out by the end of the season, but my horse back then was a nutbag so I can't really blame it on the quality of the blanket as none of the other stitching came apart or anything. I think it had more to do with the horse, and it wasn't anything that couldn't be prepared. So yeah, I'd probably buy from them again. I didn't have to deal with customer service at all nor do I remember how fast the shipping was.

Thanks! :) I'm planning to borrow just a figure-8 noseband from my trainer, and if I like how Andie goes in it better, I think I'm going to go ahead and buy this bridle. Like I said above, I've only heard positive feedback from anyone so far. :)

I have bought many things from GRT. Decent prices, fast shipping and I'm always happy with the product.
