So I have zero experience selling horses. When I sold my first horse, the barn I was boarding at bought her from me as a lesson horse.
I'm now trying to sell my TB Sirius.
Not actively yet, since he's horribly out of shape...but I have a potential buyer coming to look at him tomorrow.
He's 11, just over 16 hands, raced, steeplechased, had basic flatwork training, and we did some jumping. However, over the past three years or so he's been ridden quite sporadically, due to my lack of time and occasionally confidence.
So he's fuzzy and out of shape, and quite lazy.
I have photos and videos behind the cut.
(note: these are not his "sale pictures" they're just the most recent ones I have...the photographer wasn't a real photographer, had a horrible camera, and also isn't a horse person. And please excuse my bad riding.)
How much would you all ask?
Edit: The bucking thing in the video...that video was taken specifically to show what he does. I find it hard to explain without either over or underplaying it, so I figured I'd just let people see for themselves. It's something he does unless he's worked regularly...I think it's his way of protesting. It's bucking, obviously, but I hesitate to call it bucking because it's certainly not the head between the legs-back arched-bronc riding type.
