Hm, mentioning her past jokingly, Twilight scolding her, and Starlight saying "Kidding!"....throwback to when *TWILIGHT* was in her hooves?

"But, whatever she said, you forgave her, right?" Saying everything we were all thinking there, Starlight.

Trixie's about-face was a little weird. Cute episode though, enjoying Starlight Glimmer's arc. Poor Celestia lol!

It really was.

I found it to be a bit odd as well. I mean, "The Humble and Penitent Trixie's Equestrian Apology Tour" was a mouthful of Molasses, as Applejack said.

And Twilight picking out friends *FOR* Starlight, instead of letting her do it *for herself* just rubbed me the wrong way. I dunno....maybe it was just me.

You *KNOW* Luna was laughing, the whole time, from the safety of the castle! XD

This ep was cute... Starlight and Trixie are perfect BFFs! I laughed at RD's reaction to Starlight not knowing who the Wonderbolts were, too :P

I was honestly thrilled with this episode overall. I was one of the only people who hated Magic Duel, and Boast Busters was an "Eh" episode for me, so this is the first Trixie episode I've actually, fully enjoyed. And now I finally like Trixie for more than just her beautiful aesthetic design

The only thing I wasn't really so sure on was having it end with Celestia still waiting. That didn't seem very good. It certainly wasn't funny. They should have had at least Twilight come back and apologize to Celestia and tell her the real story and admit that she learned a lesson herself. And then maybe Starlight and Trixie come in after the show. That would have been a good way to handle the angle that Twilight has more to learn too, and it would have been a call-back to seasons 1 and 2 where she communicated with Celestia.

That rubbed me the wrong way too. I mean, yes, I understood that Twilight was trying her hardest, but leaving her at the party and not coming back was just *rude*.

I'm pretty sure she did come back; it's just that the writer chose not to show it happening because he thought it would be a good joke. Instead it was just lame.

Well, I felt it would have made a good closure to the episode.
