I know you've not been playing him long, but I just wanted to comment and say that I'm really, really impressed with the way you're playing Harry. I think he's just fantastic and threading with him is a complete joy. I've seen a couple Potters through Poly's history, and I think yours is the best so far.

So glad to have you playing him. ♥

sdfshjlsd. I-I'm incredibly flattered. Seriously, I've been nervous about Harry ever since I apped him, so it's relieving to know that I'm doing it right.

And I can say the same when it comes to threading with you. EVEN IF YOUR GIRLS LIKE TO TORTURE HIM. He secretly enjoys it.

orz I'm blushing right now -- thank you so much. Seriously, you've made my night/week/eternity. ;3;

This isn't a criticism really...but remember Gampolat's (probably misspelled) Third Law of Transfiguration! Cake can't be multiplied!

Note: Please do not take this seriously. Really.

Actually, Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration says that food can be duplicated once it exists! :D

Hmmm...maybe your right. I thought the idea was, that you couldn't just keep feeding yourself with magic, but maybe it was just about making food out of nothing. I will have to reassess~!

I'm 100% sure, actually. As long as the original food item is obtained through non-magical means, it can be multiplied.

I don't know if this is a criticism per say, but I'm just sort of... confused by Harry's reaction to Bellatrix's appearance in the City. Granted, I don't study the books much but from what I recall Harry always seemed less inclined to hide and more likely to go and find them. It could just be me not remembering things correctly but Harry always came across as very proactive to me. I'm probably missing something so if you could perhaps explain your reasoning behind his reaction that would probably help clarify things for me.

Also, sort of along those lines... the information black out sort of puzzles me too. Harry always seemed rather upset when people left him in the dark so him doing that seems strange to me. Again, most likely I'm just missing something but these are things I've heard several people puzzle about, so any explanation would be great.

Thanks!

P.S. I do honestly still think your Harry is fantastic, it's just those two points alone I'm not clear on!

All right, here's the answer to the first point. Harry hid for almost an entire month in Grimmauld place early on in the book. Death Eaters patrolled the area daily, yet he didn't go and challenge them; he only went out after figuring where to find the first Horcrux and actually left their hiding place only after the Fidelius Charm stopped working. He's got that trademark brashness befitting a Gryffindor, but he's also got common sense. While he could got out and challenge Bellatrix, Harry knows that his war's back home. He doesn't want to risk killing himself here in the City - besides, Harry already knows Bellatrix is dead. Challenging a dead person is pretty redundant. And lastly, he's trying to protect his 16 year old Mother. So acting rashly isn't in his best interest at the moment ( ... )
