However, I just read ANOTHER thingy that claims he still holds a rotten grudge against the 5th Beatle for supposedly losing them all those millions because of the various recording and merchandising contracts he "bungled."
Not taking into consideration that the Beatles were blazing a new trail in the early 60s, and the types of contracts that are commonplace now were just plain unheard of when Brian was negotiating them.

You would think that in the Linda (family name formerly Epstein) days he would have spoken up.

With Linda, we're talking about the old days. Just supposing this so-called "news" story is in any way true ~ well, the Paulie is all about appearance and image (with a lot of do-gooder stuff thrown in when it benefits him), and honestly, after all these years it's become pretty much an "in thing" amongst his present upper class eschelon, not to mention the plethora of present-day non-and-anti-bigots, to be Jewish ~ or, at the very least, being Jewish is not a cringeworthy identity like it was closer to his Liverpool days ~ and in the US being Jewish even approaches trendiness now ( ... )
