And now I'm even more desperately sad that I can't make it to L'pool this year ~

My dad would be thrilled to see that Petula is still stunning. She is one of his favorite singers.

Awww, yay for Katie. I want to have lunch with her and see all her lovely things and hear her lovely stories.

My gawd, Van, you ARE just a hop skip and a jump from her!
(Well, compared to where I reside.) It would actually be possible.

*ze christine shoot envy-rays at youuuuu*

Hee, I dunno if I'd ever be able to, like she did, let any museum take an actual Brian article from my hands! My heart would be in the right place, but I fear they'd have to kill me first to actually take them from me! XD XD XD

Ahahahahaha, well it's still too far of a drive for me to make right now, unfortunately. Augh. Besides, I'd want you there too!

But yeah. Maybe you could make really high quality photocopies and send those instead, hhaha. Or be like, "You can put them in the museum, but you have to put me up in a flat right next door until the exhibit is over"

Awww! That is so sweet!
Yeah, I'd probably need the moral support if I were to just meet her cold like that, hahaa. Hermit Christine is not accustomed to socializing with people in the brick 'n mortar world!

Right now I'll just bet she's planning to jet on her way to Liverpool to see her exhibition. Well, I really don't know. Seems like it would be the thing to do.

It's my experience that journalists just love talking to people.

Or getting drunk and playing guitar at midnight on the floor of the living room with people. Whatever.

Write the woman. You write very intelligently and with no small amount of wit. Besides, it's harder to type "durrrrrrrrmamamamamawoooo!" than it is to say it out loud, so do it. Here- borrow some of my sack: ()()

I did give her the url to this here LJ of mine back then ~ so who knows if she ever peeks in? Who knows if she's reading this and moaning, "OMG, what a nutcase!"

I dunno if she's a partier ~ I kind of doubt it since I have seen (through the magic google machine) a few fascinating bits, such as, well, she's married and stuff. Which really doesn't mean anything, per se, but I just don't get those "partier vibes" from her. However, I may be wrong (and I am often wrong), so there ya go.

One about the 1996 San Francisco Jewish Film Festival ~ A Shiksa at the Festival

She's also a Special Correspondent for the What Goes On website and other Beatley & Briany stuffs ~ and same here and here, too!

(p.s. these links are interesting, dudette!) (errmmm, to me, that is *blush*)
Guess you have to be a real Brian nut or something.

Maybe she is, maybe she isn't. The only journalist I've ever had at my apartment plays a mean acoustic "Purple Rain," though.

And now I have to stop typing, because I'm chuckling. You said "nut." Heheheheheehe!
