My arm aches in weird places right now because I bowled two games after barely lifting my weak arms for anything. Thankfully I will be able to fight through the pain next Sunday, because apparently the lane near us has games half-off on Saturday and Sunday mornings, since I guess no one shows up because they're too busy with church/being hungover/ ( Read more... )

I told you Wembley was NOT somewhere I wanted to play! The pitch sucks! And our team is still very... hurt.

Here is what I decided Saturday night when I thought about what could happen. Pompey have nothing. They are going down, they have no money, they've got nothing as far at the league goes. But they have the FA cup. They have nothing to lose in league games, they aren't fighting for anything like we (supposedly) are. They can afford to get hurt in the FA cup. They can afford to give it their all for the cup. We can't.
We have a lot to lose, they have nothing to lose and EVERYTHING to gain by winning the FA cup before being relegated.
Imagine it as a final "fuck you!" to the rest of the Prem. And you know what? I hope they win it now. I don't think they will, let's be honest. But wouldn't that be brilliant? We're going down, but we've got your stupid Cup! We'll be back!

As for the NLD... I'm glad I have class. I don't know if I can watch it anymore. A win! A draw! Anything but being slaughtered.

And Man City. FUCK! :(

I liked reading this entry, also I can totally relate to the whole little brother thing, as mine's also a good kid, but oh, he has such a high opinion of himself and is too used to getting whatever he wants and my parents going on about how great he is. He doesn't bowl though...

As a Liverpool fan, I'd much prefer if you guys could beat City to forth place, although it's hard for me to get too worked up after how terrible we've been this year.

Your grandma sounds pretty cool :)

maybe it's a raising a boy compared to raising a girl thing? because i'm too old to feel put upon by a child but there definitely has been a difference in what was expected of me vs what's expected him.

ugh i'd prefer it too but i've been calling it for city for ages and i can't see us bouncing back from this to do well against just one of arsenal/chelsea/man utd, much less all three.

she is :-D my granddad is pretty rockin too.

This is the funniest paragraph that I have read in a long while. Like multiple weeks.

How does one become a typist for closed captioning, would any of you know? Because, ok, "innane" for inane, I guess I can let it slide, but some knucklehead put "die dacktic" for didactic and I wanted to wish fire and brimstone upon them. Honestly.

Way funnier than the movie Philadelphia.
