Love this.

The dialogue between the two of them, from boyhood to the end, is so spot-on and rife with emotion, and god, the end, just killed me, the connection between kissing and killing and love and healing and...

This passage in particularly really struck me, about broke me, so beautiful and just how I think it would be:

Nathan's clothes were catching on fire now, the metal of his belt melting between them. "Let go," Peter whispered against his neck. "Please, let go." But that wasn't the way Nathan worked. Nathan was the one who held on, who fought hard, and that's what he planned to do now. And Peter always let him, but not this time. Not when it meant this.

This is a wonderful first fic. I hope you'll keep writing! I'm new to the Heroes fandom and just wrote my first fic in it yesterday, so it's exciting to see others writing too! Oh, boys...They give us so much to work with, don't they?

I'm glad you liked the interaction! I want to write something with more of Peter's anger in it, since there's so much of that in the show, but this fic didn't quite fit that in.
Hmm, maybe I'll go check out your story now =D *wanders off*

I seriously OD's on ansgt but man, oh man what a way to go - seriously, this fic was so beautiful! and the ending *cries* I adored it even it make me want to run into a corner and hide.
