We have access to so much more information than at any time in the past and yet instead of appreciating it, I get annoyed that there's not MORE. So typical ( Read more... )

See! I do make some sense. Everything that I want to know needs to be made available. At least to me.

::adds this to movie list::

Do you have a scanner?

Oh, ::tangent:: Were you as disturbed as I with the scene of Dana in the trunk with a duct taped mouth when Gillian was very, very pregnant as I was?

Yes, exactly! And yet I think about how much I wanted some kind of video on demand when I was a kid and we didn't even have a VCR and now...it's here! and I'm not too old to enjoy it!

I do have a scanner, would you like something scanned? From my vast collection of oddities?

Of course I was, although obviously I knew it was coming, not catching that ep til a repeat and having read about it. I have all* the seasons of X Files on DVD but haven't rewatched in ages...I'm a bit scared to, given that I thought tptb were misogynists back then and I'm probably more of a feminist now.

* all the ones that exist as far as I'm concerned

You were not alone! Yay!

The McCall's article, please. And anything else you think...

I agree... Watching edited on television doesn't count. It actually makes me physically ill, but then, anyone with duct tape on their mouth causes a physical reaction, partially because I can't really breathe through my nose.

eta: Oh my gods, I think that is the first time I have ever made that mistake. ::Sickened:: I guess I really need sleep.

When I find the article...it may be a mini-quest. We shall see. The talk of X Files made me think of my still-decent-sized collection of XF magazines.

There are other things that squick me out more but I totally get it.

You do need sleep, but I didn't even notice the error until you pointed it out in your edit.

Very cool! I have a chapter on children and civil defence. I want to see that film and read the article.

I was thinking it would be right up your alley. :) If/when I track down the article I can send it your way.
