Somewhat, yes. There's way better shows I don't bother with so it must be soemthing. I forgot about halfway through this week's and started taking it seriously...oops. much better if you don't.
Yeah. So my latest obsession, In Plain Sight, apparently lost its creator this season and is apparently losing the character arcs which I love and going to procedural. Fuck me. One show I got with consistent character development, and it is being taken from me.
Ummmm, I think actually they didn't? I seem to remember instead that as he was descending into it, they went back in time to an era where the well didn't exist, which is why the rope suddenly went right into hard ground. If I'm recalling this correctly (who knows, at this point?) this is the first time since then that they've encountered it in now-time.
I think it may be a different one, he said there were many on the island..but knowing them and their high standard for continuity and actually knowing their own backstory..it's the same one. ;)
I'm thinking it was a different well, especially after FLocke told Des that when people found the electromagnetic pockets, they dug, looking for the source. Makes sense, doesn't it? Wouldn't your first reaction be Oh look, huge amounts of electromagnetism, let me dig a gigantic hole. ;)

I hate when they kick the producer off a show. and when they change things after a perfectly good first season. and procedurals in general.

It does make sense that if they were digging where they found magnetism there would be more than one.
