I love Desmond driving around like Cupid. Even if this episode is 87% shit. Oh, wait, maybe not so much like Cupid after all...cupid OF DEATH.
Yeah... cupid of death is about right! Bizarre, creepy stalker cupid of death! I mean, yay for running over Locke and blowing up Ilana but what does that accomplish, really? Right action, wrong 'verse!
(So, does Ilana get a happily ever after in the other reality or is she just screwed?)
Like Jack wants to remind Sawyer of it...convince him, as it were...how else would he do it?
YES! God bless you for bringing some much-needed slash to this episode. (Besides Sayid tying up Des.)
And as I noted in my humble review, Desmond obviously just SAT THERE and let Sayid tie him up. We all suspected they were using those cots on the frieghter for purposes other than sleeping, but I'm taking this as proof. Also? Sayid is just as kinky as one would expect.
If Jack tongues kisses Sawyer to get him to remember, Lost will be the best show ever on tv. It's amazing how hot man love can make even convoluted writing so much better. :)
Ilana, training her whole life to get blown to smithereens on an island and totally forgotten five minutes later.
You know...I'm not sure if I really was, but the way she was slinging that bag of unstable dynamite around yammering away - just like Arzt did long ago and far away - made it less shocking when it actually happened.
If I think about the wider reaching anti-feminist implications of them silencing Sun I will be really pissed off.
It's best not to think about all the anti-feminism that goes on on this show in general. Seriously. I love it, but TPTB seems to have some serious issues with women.
is Vincent from the alternate universe? Or time traveling? Or Jacob? Or something.
Listen closer to the whispers. You can hear a distinct "woof" among all the "pstitllcomebackarounddontpushthebuttonaaaaaaahhhhhh".
Nah, I'm just kidding. He's probably stranded back in the 70s with BernardAdam and RoseEve.
Also, if Libby kisses Hurley and he remembers the prime universe, this has promise. Like Jack wants to remind Sawyer of it...convince him, as it were...how else would he do it?
Eh. Maybe they didn't stay in the 70s. I still think it's possible "Adam" and "Eve" are not romantically linked and will end up being Jack and Claire or something. But considering what happened to Charlotte, dead bodies don't necessarily travel the same way as live ones. Maybe it is Daniel and Charlotte or maybe Bernard and Rose died somehow somewhere and we didn't see it because they couldn't coordinate the actors' schedules.

Sayid tying up Desmond was THE slash in this episode. Sayid is kinda into tying people to trees...

The Ilana thing was funny but really did seem wasteful.

I still don't get how Rose and Bernard stayed in the 70s (if they did) when everyone else involuntarily time traveled back to the present. Oh well.
