As promised, a reading from "The Hawkline Monster: A Gothic Western," one of the worst books I have ever read. I did a bit of research and apparently it is meant to be some sort of satire/parody, but even then...I don't think that redeems it.

I'm starting to get a bit conceited about my voice. It's not that great though -- I mean, I don't want to listen to it.
