Oooh, this was awesome! I totally loved the set-up, and I really loved that while it was fun as hell it also managed to say quite some serious things about those two. The whole Parent Trap thing was downright hilarious and the hate you/don't hate you conversation. Also,

"You want to make out with me, is that it?" Jack postured, scoffing, too manly for this.

"Why not?" He shrugged like it didn't matter.

"I thought you'd never ask." Biting sarcasm, to hide a fear he didn't think he'd felt since back in sixth grade.

was totally making me go awwww like a few other things. It's such an IC conversation, and their attitude was just perfect here. I loved it!

Aw, thank you! I had fun with this and I'm glad it came through. And thank you for saying it's in character -- with so much dialogue it kind of hinged on that.

how Jack to never realize those girls liked him - he can be so clueless. ;)
