And Brazil was weird, but I kind of loved it. While I actually dread Jim Carrey when he's in a comedy but like him when he's in serious movies.

Jim Carrey is better in serious roles, I agree. I love the Truman Show, for example. Brazil was so weird but I adored it.

The Pirate Movie! I was obsessed with that movie between grade two and three. My neighbour had cable and we watched it over and over and acting parts out. Decades later, I saw the Pirates of Penzence, and I was like - why was it so familar! Oh yeah!

Oh, fun memes. If I had more time! I know some of your movies (The sound of Music, etc) but I've never heard of 'The Pirate Movie', which I assume is some sort of Pirates of Penzance adaptation?

Yep, it's a spoofy 1980s comedy Pirates of Penzance type thing. I don't know if it's any good if you haven't loved it since you were 7 years old though. :D
