oh wow, that is really beautiful. their interaction is sizzling, so them. I like that she flinches when he kisses her, but that she doesn't shy away. lovely fic!

You know you're the only person who can get me to read het, right? ;) And what a lovely piece it was. Wonderful characterizations, evocative imagery, and the perfect hook, "What makes you flinch?" And you know, I've never had any problems with the idea of Sawyer and Juliet, not even a twinge of the "squick" I feel for...er, other pairings. This is one I could see working. Thanks for confirming that in such a nice way.
