Okay, gotta tell you, I have a HUGE love for Jack and Sawyer in the car, and the rain storm just topped it all off. I love being in a car in the rain. I love the tension in this and the silence and how in the end the two of them just kissing in the back seat seems so comforting and easy, such a peaceful moment after all that's come before it. Just wonderful!

Thank you! I'm a road trip girl and a fan of rain storms, so I'm glad some of that came through in the story. I'm also thrilled that the silences worked, and the ending. I was especially worried about the ending, and what you say about it is exactly what I wanted to capture, so I'm so happy that worked!

I'm also thrilled that you mentioned the build of tension in this story. That's one of the things that's tough to know if you're pulling off when you're writing, because it's so much a reader's experience.

that long drive was amzingly written. I love the atmosphere, the sharing, how Sawyer listens with his eyes closed and possibly makes up a new song as they go. and the ending.. oh the ending is a thing of beauty. I love thunderstorms and the setting is just too beautiful. ♥

Wow, I loved this. I love this 'verse and how they've come together, especially the way Jack tells Sawyer about his father and how Jack is the only one who Sawyer has told the truth about his. The last line is so wonderful.
