Really going for the psych stuff here!
More daddy issues -- Lost is so rife with them. Interesting exploration with Kate's, double daddies, what is real, double men, what is true. The discomforting parallels between the two. Thought this fic was strongest in paralleling Sawyer/Wayne (insightful, given the episode where Kate sees Wayne in Sawyer) and Jack/Other Dad guy (forget his name).

Especially like the title.

Glad you deleted what you did.

Thanks! I'm especially happy you liked the title. I posted it, and then kind of questioned my choice.

You know, you are just such a good writer, I mean I'm not a fan of Kate's and you pulled me into this and took me for a great ride, a great study of Kate and her feelings for both Jack and Sawyer--loved it!

Thank you! I'm not really a Kate fan, either, so it always kind of amuses me to get feedback on stories including her from other people who don't like Kate, but liked my take on her. I'm glad you liked it.

Awesome, awesome, awesome!

Great insight on Kate's feelings for Jack and Sawyer and how they both reflect Wayne and Sam. I especially liked that paragraph with how it was Wayne who was the one who botherd to show her some affection. I never thought of it that way and how this is why Kate sees Wayne in Sawyer. Same with the difference between her moments with Jack and Sawyer. She's the one walking away from Sawyer, but it's Jack walking away from her. I also liked the part where Kate realized she couldn't hate her mother because it wasn't her decision to pick between Sam and Wayne. It looks like she can relate to her mother now.

Great work! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you! Everything you mention in your feedback is exactly what I wanted this story to do and say, so I'm thrilled that it all came across.

I wonder if Kate will ever choose, and I love your perspective on it all. the parallels between her and her mother makes it as much about mother issues as well as daddy issues. she's got it all. great fic, thanks!

I kind of wonder if Kate will ever choose, too. And then I think, why would she? Two fabulous guys, both hot for her...we should all have such problems! ;) Thanks for reading.
