It's midnight. My flist is usually dead at this hour, but I popped in to check anyway. When I saw that you'd written threesome smut, I had to read. And, dammit if you didn't make it rise above PWP. Hard to do with a threesome. It was lovely and sexy. You have such a knack for showing their gestures, not just for the visual, but also for the characterization it provides. It started slow and sensual (Sawyer was all shy, how interesting!), but then it built to something frantic, and I was enjoying so much not only the sex but seeing the thing shift between the three sides of the triangle. It's funny, but it seems like, even though Kate's with Jack, that was the least important relationship of the three to her.

Thanks, I'm glad you thought this worked, not just on a PWP level but from a character standpoint. And yeah, even though Jack kind of gets equal time in this fic, his presence doesn't really carry equal weight. I think because Kate is more sure of him. Poor Jack, always taken for granted.

So now I see what prompted the PWP question.

And you've succeeded, according to my primary requirement of this type of fic. Definately succeeded.

But you can't really help yourself, b/c there's all this other lovely stuff going on. The idea of the triangle, which resonates for me right now, as I've been working with that image in something I'm writing. The idea of it having to be the three of them in order for it to be complete.

Lovely and hot. Oh, to be Kate for that one hour!

Yay! I'm so happy this story met the primary requirements of PWP. :) And the triangle is fascinating, isn't it? Lucky Kate.

This was great, totally hot but deep too, a lot of emotional stuff going on underneath the act. I LOVE that Sawyer was shy and needed encouragement, that totally did it for me for some reason. And I love how proud Kate was that she'd somehow manage to bring Jack and Sawyer together whilst also claiming them both as her own. It's obvious how much they all needed this, not just on a physical level but on an emotional level, probably more on an emotional level. Love the end with Jack and Sawyer finally kissing and Kate feeling so safe and protected in-between them both. Great work.

The image of shy Sawyer was what made me write this. It totally does it for me, too. :) I'm glad you liked this.

When PWPs are this good, they're fantastic. No plot required. I love this fandom and its almost-canon threesomes ( ... )

Thanks for the feedback. It's interesting to me that you broke it down along character lines. I think you're absolutely right about Kate -- she wants to be the center of attention, and if they did this again I don't think they would be, and she wouldn't like it very much. Your take on Jack in this story intrigues me...I hadn't considered it that way at all, I'd seen him as very self-assured, but I think you might be right.

"She feels incomplete with out it, the way she felt incomplete when it was her and Jack and not Sawyer, two sides of a triangle, not finished yet."

I think I just fell in love with this whole "triangle buisness" once more. Intelligent reviews aren't my strong point, so here is one from a fan, lol! Wow, I just... wow.

More? ;)
