Wow that looks pretty - and chilly! I love bare trees in the winter, and they really stand out against the white... but where's the snowman?

Lovely pics - thanks for posting - looks like that's the closest I'm going to get to the snow... ::pouts::

Didn't get that far. The snow was pretty horizontal, though light, and I only managed about half an hour before my face started to feel seriously ow.

Really gorgeous! Would you mind if I made an icon out of the first photo? The composition is very nice.

The second photo reminds me of the little corner of Wales I got to see when I was in the UK in October. I stayed part of the time with a friend in Shrewsbury and we drove into Wales one afternoon so I could see it.

Please feel free. The nice composition was entirely accidental! Is it okay if I nick the icon back off you, once it's made? I'm completely hopeless icon-wise...

If you drove into Wales from Shrewsbury (was it Rae, by any chance?) you'd probably have gone into Snowdonia. About 60 miles inland (towards England) from where I am. Much higher hills than here, and very beautiful and wild.

And yes, I spent the last of my UK holiday with Rae, one of my closest fandom friends. It really was the trip of a lifetime for me and I can't wait to go back and do it all over again!
