Beyond Lost: How Reading the Map of My Life Upside Down Completely Screwed Up My Life (So Far); With special guest: When “Yes” Obliterates

There is nothing quite so screwed up as a girl who falls for a boy she sort-of knows is gay, despite the fact he flirts constantly with members of the opposite sex. But, wait, there’s more! That sort of ( Read more... )

Yay you posted it! That's so awesome!

I'll try to send you an e-mail about a couple of tricks I've learned using LJ. I really know very few of them though, since I am a very basic poster :)

Welcome to LJ!

What do you know? I figured out how to do this, so that is one trick you don't have to explain. Got confused because it just looks like a space in the preview then does what you want after you post it.

That was a really long post, but happily, I like your writing style! It really deserves a longer comment than this but ( ... )

Thank you for your advice and everything you said. Pretty much the only game romance I've ever had (Carth saying I love you twice in Knights of the Old Republic doesn't count in my book) was when I pretended my Baldur's Gate II paladin was really a woman (even though the game thought it was a man) and romanced Viconia.

She was one hard person to woo. No matter what I said she was pissed. I kept reloading the game and trying different dialogue options, but she was always mad. I guess it was because she was a drow.

One thing I liked about her is she kept revealing things about her past that made me understand why she had the personality she did (untrusting and harsh). That only made me more attracted to her, even though, in real life, I wouldn't be able to stand being around someone who said mean stuff all the time.

Not that I've ever played WoW before, but I'm guessing there wouldn't be any in-game romance with your girlfriend unless you both added romantic dialogue (and, possibly, some chivalry?) during your quests. It's the difference between you guys being in love in real life, and your characters feeling the same way. By the way, I should think being in the same room would make it more hot.

Instead of me asking Mcclure77 about your former relationship, could you tell me? It seems more straightforward that way, unless it's still too painful for you to talk about. Also, feel free to share more wisdom you gained from that experience with me, i.e., advice on what I should do.
