Sometimes when a little kid is looking out the window of his moms car and gawking at your bike.. you've just gotta throw a friendly wave and do a little wheelie.

I like to think of it as a motorcycle youth outreach program.

That's funny. I had a little (14yo) kid lean look out the window of a car today and bark at me. As if I'd fall off my pedal bike. When they turned into the next parking lot, I followed them in and unhooked the three foot steel frame pump I keep on my top tube. Apparently whatever problem the barking kid had cleared up real fast and he apologized profusely.

Percussive maintenance can fix mental disorders. Who knew?

Yes. Kids need the happy helmetted rider waves - hopefully it'll direct them toward wearing proper gear as they age and purchase their own two-wheeled menaces. ;)

You should see Tarin perk up every time a motorcycle goes by....I have this small feeling that my kid is going to want a bike by the time he's age 5 and he's never even been on one.

Must be genetics ;)
