But also kind of awesome because the guy chasing me was Detective Lassiter from Psych. :)

I LOLed. ;) Partly because I have a long history of dreams where I am being chased by someone I actually really like, and spend the whole dream being torn between the knowledge that I should run, and the desire to be caught because my captor/pursuer is so nice/hot/cool.

I loved the episode where Shawn pretends to be gay! SO CUTE. Fans everywhere went insane with squee.

Ha, I'm usually on the same side as my fandom-dream-characters. Doesn't happen too often though, which is surprising considering how much of my brain is devoted to fandom.

Fangirls are so easy to please. Favorite character + gender/sexuality ambiguity (cross-dressing, playing gay) = much squee. It doesn't hurt that Shawn would be the most adorable gay guy. (And he's kind of metrosexual already. I feel like they give him lines about ESPN in attempt to counteract all the flouncing he does.)

That's actually one of the things I love about Shawn. He's this attractive but not super macho male lead who flounces about the place, acting all crazy, and they a/ haven't made him gay, and b/ haven't overcompensated for his hetero-normative 'guy' behaviour by making him super butch.

Yeah, I really like that he's an unusual leading man. I'm used to characters like him being the secondary character, or the comic relief, not the lead. I do think they overcompensate sometimes though -- for example, in the speed-dating ep, with the tanning salon stuff, there's a lot of digs at his dad or Gus for smelling fruity or other nonmasculine stuff. It struck me as OOC at the time because Shawn dances along that line himself (come on, he jokes about getting mani-pedis!)
