Oh, turkeys can fly, at least the wild ones (rather than the captive-bred fatass birds). Not very long or far, but enough to make them a real pain to catch until we clip their feathers.

I do know that, I was being too clever by half and quoting WKRP in Cincinnati's notorious "Turkey Drop" episode, in which they attempt a Thanksgiving turkey giveaway by dropping them out of helicopters, with predictably gruesome results -- the quote is the capper at the end of the episode.

Practically anyone could've done Hammer of the Gods better. That episode had some...poor decisions about it. >.<

And yes, turkeys can fly. Mom saw a flock go from our bird feeders at ground level to on the roof when a car startled them, and she wouldn't exaggerate.

I actually love Hammer of the Gods, but that's only because my brain shuts off and goes "GAAAAABRIEL" pretty much the entire time. :) (And I ship Gabriel/Kali like Fedex.)
