so many things we're not

so after the shit fest that was being kicked out of my room the other day, today went much better! mostly because we headed up (down?) to quebec city for a one-day tour (and discounting the fact that i had to get up at the ass crack of dawn). our tour guide was an ass, and totally unhelpful, aside from providing a tiny, beat-up little car to ferry ( Read more... )

Potentially a dumb question and potentially embarrassing myself, what do you mean by packets of milk?

That ice place was awesome. Any idea how long it takes to build it? I was in Montreal over 35 years ago for a bowling tournament and really didn't get to do any site seeing. Quebec city looks very interesting. Nice photos. Your parents (assuming that's your mom & dad) look so cute together with those white coats! :)

it takes like a couple of days to build the foundation i believe, and then different amounts to make each room and stuff. i believe they told us a suite takes about 40 hours to do. hee, you're not missing much in the way of montreal though, i think, nor quebec city, because they're both really small. if you ever come back, though, you could do a little city tour of both. a week is more than enough to see everything here!

and my mom is all about the matching coats thing, so i think that may have been done intentionally! ;D

YOU DON'T EAT BEEF? My heart is weeping for you. I mean, to each their own, but I can't imagine my life without beef. or I can, but it isn't worth living.

Are you a vegetarian or do you just not eat beef? Or I guess you ate ribs, but they could be veggie tofu ribs! So, it's a valid question.

Ummmmmmmm, also I just finished season 2 of SPN, yo, and like. WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUCK. Their lives are REALLY HARD D:

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I DONUT. surprisingly, possibly because i've never had it, i don't miss it. it's like when i tell people they don't know what they're missing by not eating frog, or garden snails! idk. it's weird. bahaha.

and it's a religious thing, so it's just the beef! i mostly eat pork and chicken and fish. :D

AND ALSO THEIR LIVES ARE TOTALLY HARD OMGWTF. AND I GOT NEWS FOR YOU. BECAUSE IT ONLY GETS HARDER, OKAY.

I actually would really like to try snails, no lie. Not as sure about frogs, but not because I disbelieve you that they are delicious. I just really like frogs in a pet sense, because I grew up catching them and junk :P Somehow I have no problem with eating rabbits, but I also never frolicked with rabbits.

oh my gosh, um, escargot is really pretty good, mostly, but i fell in love when i went to malaysia this one time, and they served us fried garden snails. like, honest to god garden snails that you find outside when it rains. AND THEY WERE THE MOST AMAZING THINGS I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE, NGL. i still drool just thinking about that meal.

also, re: frogs. they really taste like chicken! so it's not a big deal if you never try them! yes.

and i would like to try rabbit! one day! some day! :D
