This is a great rec - it's got me teary just thinking about it. I've always loved this story, the...unknown of it just kills me, though. Did you know that there is a podbook of the story? Who's Left And Who's Leaving, also read by the author, fiercelydreamed. She has a beautiful voice and, unsurprisingly, does a fantastic job with her own story.

Thanks so much!

Oh! Thanks for the link to the podfic! I'm definitely going to check it out.

It's an amazing story, I still remember when I first read it and I was all -- did this happen? What really happened?! I can't believe it's been 6 years!

I love this story and am pleased to see it listed here so others may discover the gem it is.

SGA is a newish fandom for me so I am always eager to see great story recs.

I love the way this story focuses on the depth of commitment to the worlds of Pegasus and the links between the characters. Few stories can bring this about and provide a riveting plot giving us a ringside seat into the hearts of our favorites.

It's a great premise and great story, and I always enjoy the tension and the uncertainty that comes with the reading. Pegasus and the bonds between the characters was definitely the highlight of the series, and though I enjoy my fair share of AUs (which SGA fandom is somehow particularly strong in), something like this is enough to propel me back into early season feels.

Welcome to this shiny new fandom! I read extensively in SGA some time around 2007 to 2010, so I'll be continuing to rec in this fandom now and then :)
