Uh, sorry. First off, the less than happy ending. It's Dean living in a world without Sam. It's Dean living in a world with no hope of Sam and no hope of wanting Sam to be there, not really, no matter how much a small little part of him will always want Sam there.

The sequels deal with a bit more of the angsty side of things (as I remember...not that well, admittedly). Also, they're a bunch of timestamps. Neither one of those is my cup of tea.

I don't remember there being any character death or anything else trigger-worthy in this, but it still leaves you feeling quite depressed. Dean/Mal could go one of two ways, slapstick silly or angsty angst with a side of angst. This is not the silly version.
